Amazing things happen when you worship God!
I am here siting in our CT Ignite celebration service witnessing an amazing site. No, I’m not talking about the wonderful sight of so many young people that came out tonight to celebrate Jesus in their lives. I’m not talking about the sight of inspiring worship. NO, I’m talking about the sight of two young ladies worshiping God with all of their heart. The reason this is so incredible is because one of these young ladies has her mother in the hospital this very moment. The other, her mother just got out of the hospital today. The first is having surgery in the next couple of days. The latter, just experienced a stroke this week. The reason this is such an amazing sight is because these two young ladies are a reflection of what it’s all about. They know that it is good to worship God no matter what. In the middle of crisis, in the middle of distress, in the middle of good times and in the middle of bad times.
This opened up my eyes to see that CT Ignite are focused on one thing – their love for God. Loving God with all of our hearts, souls and strength is essential to see lives changed in our generation. Without love for God with all of our hearts, souls and strength, we cannot love others and if we cannot love others, we cannot change our world. Love is our utmost priority. If we loose sight of it, we will loose sight of our purpose.
What an amazing sight – two young ladies loving and worshiping God despite the current circumstances in their lives. If we could all have this kind of mentality, the expansion of God’s Kingdom would be effortless. Opportunities would abound around us, people’s hearts would be hungrier, acceptance of Jesus as saviour would be easy. As Jesus once said, “by this they will know that you’re my disciples, if you love one another.”
Love is essential. Love is indispensable. Love, we cannot do without. God is love!

Passionless Life
I want to share something that, I guess I already knew, but it has came back to me in recent days. When I was in college, I was somewhat of a mediocre student. I did things passionlessly. In one of my reviews with one of my professors, I expressed that I needed to make sure that I exerted passion through my projects. He said, “Isn’t it like that for anything you do in life.” His words have resonated in my mind for nearly 10 years. You might think that this is a no brainer but, I thought to myself, “I’m not a very emotional person.” Then, I came to the realization that this world has been desensitized from living a passionate life. People go about their very life never thinking or dreaming of what they really want or can do. They follow life without meaning or purpose. You see, lack of passion leads to lack of purpose. In other words, you cannot find your purpose if you don’t do so passionately. This is very true in church. Many believers, including those in ministry, don’t follow a life of passion and purpose. If there is no passion, you will not get somewhere. I believe that that’s what’s different about Christian Tabernacle, we believe that God has called us to bring New York back to Christ. And as long as we do so with passion and purpose, we will accomplish great things for the Kingdom of God. With passion for Christ, we will not continue to move through life never being able to reach the potential that God has prepared for us. With a passion for Christ, we can reach our Cities for the Kingdom of God.
Many Blessings,
